Guided Meditation (Video): Grounding Tibetan Singing Bowls

Everyone feels fear, uncertainty, and lost sometime. A way to regain inner stability is through meditation. Another way is through meditation with Tibetan singing bowls. The tradition of singing bowls is ancient and sacred, each sound produced by the singing bowls resonates with spiritual energy. Sometimes, feeling scared, lost, confused, uncertain, is due to negative energy blocking the chakras (energy centers of the body). Meditating with singing bowls will remove negative energy from the chakras. However, it may be that not all negative energy be removed in one sit down because of its density or our attachment to that negative energy. Therefore, it is best to make a habit of meditating, with or without singing bowls, to maintain inner harmony. This type of meditation is indispensable to a regular spiritual practice.

Directions on how to meditate with singing bowls:

The way you meditate with singing bowls is by getting comfortable and making sure that you will not be disturbed. You can light incense or candles to further call positive energy to you, to cleanse your surroundings, and to ease your own energies. Once you are comfortable, you will need to quiet or clear your mind as much as you can. Simply focus on the task at hand, on meditating, on being still, on breathing. All your focus will be on breathing. Then, you will play the music and once it begins, you will close your eyes. And so, as each note is played, you will focus the sound it makes. Focus on the sound. You don’t have to do anything more than focus on the sound, on the music the bowls are creating.

If this works for you and you like it, you will know because your body will react to it. You might feel chills, the hair on your arms might stand, and the area related to the chakra you are meditating for will also react. Once your meditation is over, you will feel lighter and your fear, anxiety, uncertainty, will either be greatly diminished or gone.
