The Body: Introduction

The Body

Namaste and welcome to your body.  That’s an odd thing to say, isn’t it? Welcome to your body? The body you and I presently have, we have known no other. We haven’t inhabited any body other than the one we presently have. At least, we do not always remember the bodies we have had in previous lives.

The body in relation to the spiritual world and the Soul is often considered to be separate. The spiritual is something that is outside, something that is skyward. Enlightenment is something that we have to ascend to, something we have to rise up to. But spirituality and enlightenment are things we can experience here, now. Sometimes the opposite occurs where the physical world is neglected because the focus is primarily on the spiritual. But in order to live a fulfilling life, a balance between both physical and spiritual must be achieved.

The human body is the key to the spiritual world. When we love ourselves we expand and we allow new knowledge and love to enter our lives. The purpose of this series is to begin that blossoming process. We will start from the root, from the base of our bodies, the feet, and move upwards. And we will discuss each part of the body in detail. Where the female and male body diverge, there will be separate posts.

For those that have experienced transformational visions or dreams, for those whose awareness of the spiritual world is heightened, it is easy to see the body as a heavy burdensome tether. For those seeking spiritual knowledge and wanting to experience the spirit or astral plane, it can also be difficult to do so because of the body, because of the limitations we place on the body, because of our lack of love for the physical self. Sometimes we are very unhappy with our bodies. Sometimes you might hate your body or you might want a new one, a different one, or you might wish something on your body was different.  The purpose of this series is to regain an appreciation of the human body, of your body, and  I of my own body. Personally, I have struggled with my own body and with my own physical existence and honestly, sometimes I still do. My hope is that this series helps both you and me to find the spiritual secrets hidden in our physical bodies.

Namaste.

Healing: A Journey Through Time

Wounds. Time heals all wounds. That is one of the biggest lies people tell to assuage the pain they are feeling in the present. The truth is, time is indifferent to your pain and suffering. Time does
